At present, Jean-Marie Machado is working with his new trio together with bassist Jean-Philippe Viret and drummer Jacques Mahieux on music of the great fado singer Amalia Rodriguez and the legendary jazz diva Billie Holiday in own compositions and fresh arrangements of the singer's classics. Here Jean-Marie Machado is also spotlighted as a soloist.
